NABCO (GYRO TECH) - AUTOMATIC DOOR SENSORS

The Threshold of Technology

With our GT Optic 4000/4200 Pedestrian Sensing Device, Gyro Tech is the leader in automatic threshold sensing devices.

The GT Optic 4000 and 4200 protect pedestrians from typical swing-door hazards. With controls that are invisible to the pedestrian, these products initiate movement of the door, and hold it open to ensure safe passage. In addition, these units possess the ability to "shut down" the swing door in the event that a second pedestrian occupies the passive or "swing" side of the door. The door will remain inoperable until the passive area is clear of traffic.

Step to the threshold of technology for the ultimate mate in safety and reliability with the Gyro Tech GT4000/4200 pedestrian-sensing device.

The "sensible" choice

Specifically designed to detect children, elderly and the physically challenged, the GT Intellisensor is compatible with an automatic door operators for new construction or retrofit applications, and fully complies with ADA regulations.

Applications for the GT lntellisensor include grocery stores, hospitals, airports, hotels, commercial and industrial buildings, or any facility where liability and energy conservation are important.

The GT lntellisensor offers two technologies inside the same housing. An active infrared technology provides a horizontal presence detection zone along the entire door width (both sides and across), while microwave Doppler effect radar (24 GHz) provides door opening activation. These two technologies are ideal for detecting grocery carts, walkers and hospital beds.

The system's motion detection feature pick up pedestrian speed as low as 2.2 inches/second. Presence detection is insensitive to variations in color, materials or changing ambient light.

System intelligence monitors four different patterns, providing safety at all phases of the cycle, even during closing. Signature analysis allows the study of the signals of the door when moving, and by putting everything into memory, it allows differentiation between the door and a pedestrian.

For an ultra-sensitive threshold sensing device, the GT lntellisensor is the intelligent choice.
