Door
DuraFold high-speed flexible
traffic doors are designed for use in larger openings and applications
where high wind conditions exist. Patented features such as
our unique fold up panel design, insulated panel construction
and soft bottom edge technology make the DuraFold door system
both durable and user friendly. Standard features include prewired
electrical components, self-supporting side frames, dual safety
photo cells and numerous window configurations.
Unique Panel Design
The DuraFold door
is a highly efficient weather barrier in exterior openings,
and can be equipped with a two ply, insulated panel for maximum
thermal separation. The panel design also incorporates horizontal
stiffeners and patented panel guides to provide excellent wind
resistance. DuraFold doors are designed for use in applications
with wind gusts up to 11 0mph.
Safe Operation
Every DuraFold Door includes soft bottom
edge technology, and two safety photo cells to insure safe operation
for both motorized and personnel traffic. The bottom 12"
of the door panel is flexible, allowing incidental impact without
damage. Multiple lifting straps and patented folding mechanism
ensure that the panel folds efficiently and safely every time.
Self-Supporting Side Frames
All DuraFold door systems are equipped with
structural steel side frames, designed to support the weight
of the entire door system. This eliminates the need for wall
reinforcement, and allows the door to be mounted on the interior
or exterior of an opening, or in conjunction with another door.
